Overwatch’s Halloween Terror event returns tomorrow

Every game you could ever dare to imagine seems to be getting its own Halloween-themed event at the moment, and Overwatch is the latest game to jump in on the action.

Of course, that should come as no surprise given that Blizzard recycle the same Overwatch events at the same time every year, but hey ho. Overwatch’s Halloween Terror event will begin tomorrow, Tuesday 15th October, and will run until Monday 4th November, and as per usual will add a whole bunch of spooky new skins and emotes as well as bringing back the co-operative PvE mode Junkenstein’s Revenge. Blizzard hasn’t confirmed any of the new cosmetic items that will be added to the game as part of this years event, other than what I’m presuming is a new emote for Zenyatta which was included in the announcement trailer earlier. The emote (I think) shows the worlds favourite Omnic monk stretching his legs, which he probably needed to be fair – he’s been sat like that for ages! He must be great at yoga.

The beginning of the Halloween Terror event will coincide nicely with the games launch on the Nintendo Switch, which also happens tomorrow. Don’t forget that you can currently grab the Switch version of the game for just £22.99 from CD Keys (it was £21.99 with 3 months Switch Online earlier!), which is the cheapest you’ll get it anywhere. To give you some perspective, grabbing the game from the likes of Amazon or the Switch eShop will set you back £35.99.
