Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s February update will go live tomorrow, adding the recently announced New Game Plus mode to the game.
The news of the release was announced on Reddit earlier today, with the full patch notes also being released. New Game Plus and all of the other additions in the update were announced earlier this month but no release date was given, with the update simply slated to arrive “later this month”. With the number of days in February slowly running out, players will have been wondering when the update was finally going to see the light of day.
Aside from the eagerly awaited New Game Plus—which will give players the ability to start a new game while keeping their gear, upgrades, abilities, and mounts from their previous play through—the update will also add new mastery levels, new mercenary tiers, 22 new viewpoints for fast travelling, 10 new frames for photo mode, and increases the level cap to a whopping Level 99. As always, there are also numerous gameplay tweaks and bug fixes.
The update will go live tomorrow, Tuesday 26th February, on all platforms, weighing in at 5.5gb on Xbox One, 5.7gb on PlayStation 4, and 4.7gb on PC.
