Resident Evil is arguably one of the best game franchises of all time, and now—thanks to Capcom—you will be able to play Resident Evil, Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil 4 on the go via a Nintendo Switch.
Resident Evil 4 was my personal favourite of the series, so it feels good to know that I’ll be able to replay it again while I’m on the toilet. I’m also hoping/expecting that the original Resident Evil will be the GameCube remake rather than the actual original…
Capcom is bringing multiple fan favourites to Nintendo Switch!
Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4 will each be launching on Nintendo Switch in 2019!
We’ll have more info soon!

There’s no release date yet, but we’re guessing it will be early 2019, possibly even before Christmas, but we will see.
Almost every Resident Evil game that has been released has been met with praise by critics and fans, so it’s good to see some more quality games making their way to the Nintendo Switch, a console which—other than the standard Nintendo games, such as Mario and Zelda—lacks in that department. Let’s hope some more third party studios decide to port their games over to the Switch, I’m especially interested in indie-type games such as Moonlighter, which will be porting over in November.
