Nuketown will arrive on Black Ops 4 on PS4 on Tuesday

We’ve known for a while now that Nuketown would be debuting on Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in November, but now, PS4 players who have been eager to get their hands on the fan-favourite map will be able to do just that on Tuesday 13th November.

The news comes by way of a tweet over on Twitter (where else would a tweet be?) from the official Call of Duty account:

Sony does, of course, have timed-exclusive rights to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, meaning that all new content will arrive on PS4 before any other platform. While there has been no official date for when Nuketown will debut on PC and Xbox One, we brought you the news back in September that timed-exclusivity will last just seven days for Black Ops 4, meaning PC and Xbox players should expect to be in the middle of minuscule map mayhem just one week later. Alliteration, bitches.

By the way, that line of Russian that you see reads “Welcome back”. That is, of course, because Nuketown is an iconic Call of Duty map that was originally released as part of the original Black Ops, but has since found its way on to every game in the Black Ops franchise in some shape or form. The original version of Nuketown was set in a nuclear test zone in Nevada, but from the above tweet, it would seem that this iteration of the classic map will have a Russian flavour.

There can be no doubt that Treyarch is keeping their latest instalment in the Black Ops franchise well supported and up to date, as this news follows just a few days on from Black Ops 4’s latest update which focused on Blackout.
