Trials Rising’s post-launch content detailed

Ubisoft has released a video detailing the post-launch plans for their upcoming motorcycle racing platformer, revealing new tracks and customization options.

Trials Rising’s post-launch content will be accessed through the Expansion Pass, which will grant players access to two major expansion packs. The first of these expansion packs will be titled Sixty Six, giving players new tracks, contracts, and customization items, all themed around a road trip across Route 66, which may well be the closest I’ll ever get to the famous highway.

The second expansion pack, Crash & Sunburn (see what they did there?), will take players to the Southern Hemisphere, introducing even more tracks, challenges, and customization items, as well as two new bikes. Expansion Pass owners will also get two exclusive customization packs, one of which will include a Stuntman Outfit that will make you look just like Evel Knievel in his prime, which seems very apt.

The video also reveals that Trials Rising’s multiplayer will be broken up into seasons, which Ubisoft is hoping will help to keep things feeling “fresh”, and new tracks, bikes, and vanity items should be introduced each season. For the more creative players amongst us, the Track Editor will be returning in Trials Rising, allowing players to create their own track with the exact same tool used by level creators over at developer RedLynx, and a sticker system will be introduced to allow players more freedom when customizing their rider.

Trials Rising, which is the first main entry in the series since 2014’s Trials Fusion, will release on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Tuesday 26th February.
