Trials Rising is getting an open beta next weekend ahead of the games release on Tuesday 26th February, Ubisoft has announced.
The open beta will run from Thursday 21st February until Monday 25th February, and it will be playable on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The beta will give players access to 18 tracks and five bikes, specifically the Squid, Rhino, Mantis, Helium, and two-player Tandem bike, as well as the ability to unlock the Turbo Bike Exhaust which can be attached to the Helium Bike to make it that little bit noisier. Players who unlock the Turbo Bike Exhaust during the beta will be able to keep it if they purchase the full game.
Bizarrely, there’s apparently a real-world counterpart designed to make your bicycle sound like a motorbike, which will basically make you an annoying, noisy bastard.
Probably most interestingly and importantly, the beta will also give players access to global multiplayer. If you want to know more about Trials Rising, Ubisoft revealed their post-launch plans for the game last week – you can check that out here.
If you haven’t played a Trials game before but are interested in Trials Rising then the open beta is a perfect opportunity to check out if it’s your kind of thing or not. If you want to take part then you’ll need to register via the Ubisoft website.
Trials Rising will launch for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Tuesday 26th February 2019.
