Catherine: Full Body will release on PS4 on September 3rd

In a very appropriately timed announcement, Atlus has revealed that Catherine: Full Body, the remake of the 2011 PS3 and Xbox 360 game Catherine, will release for the PlayStation 4 on Tuesday 3rd September 2019.

Of course, there will be some people who think it may not be so appropriate, as Catherine doesn’t exactly paint a perfect picture of love. Catherine see’s players take control of Vincent, a man who becomes embroiled in a love triangle with his girlfriend Katherine and his mistress Catherine. By day, the game tasks players with dealing with this situation through making decisions and sending messages to the women while sitting in his local bar, but by night we delve into Vincent’s nightmares, as the game takes the shape of a puzzle platformer featuring anthropomorphic sheep. No, honestly. To make things even less appropriate, this upgraded Catherine: Full Body release will add another woman, also named Catherine (does he just love the name?), into the equation.

Catherine: Full Body will also add improved visuals and gameplay, as well as new endings, puzzles, and audio options. Most notably, the game will also add the online functionality that was missing from the original release, finally allowing players to play the game in either co-op or versus multiplayer online for the first time.

Catherine: Full Body will release on the PlayStation 4 on Tuesday 3rd September 2019.
