It’s almost over. Skybound Games has officially confirmed that the final episode of Telltale’s The Walking Dead will release on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Tuesday 26th March. Skybound announced the news earlier today on Twitter:
On March 26th, not only can you play Episode 4, but you’ll also be able to hold the entire Final Season in your hands! For full details please see here: https://t.co/si9wtvWCZU pic.twitter.com/1t70ViyhGI

The episode will be titled Take Us Back, and it will finally wrap up Clementine’s story, something which we didn’t think would happen when Telltale Games closed its doors back in September. Thankfully, The Walking Dead co-creator Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Games picked up the series and worked with members of the Telltale team to give fans the ending that they deserve.
As you can see, March 26th is also the day that the entire of The Walking Dead: The Final Season will get a physical release on Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch. That will be great news for the collectors amongst us who still prefer to have a physical copy of our games rather than just downloading our games digitally, which still feels too impersonal to me.
Don’t forget that we announced back in December that the third and fourth episodes of The Walking Dead: The Final Season on PC will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store, although anybody who bought the entire season through Steam up front will still be able to download the episodes through Valve’s platform. There will be no physical release for PC players.
