The Amnesia Collection Will be Launching on the Xbox One Next Week

“Experience the series that kickstarted the Let’s Play revolution and be immersed in three living nightmares that will chill you to the core.”

The Amnesia game series is far from new, in fact the first game was released all the way back in 2010 and it was met with hugely positive reviews and still in fact receives positive reviews to this day, so it’s most definitely a game that has aged well.

Playstation bagged the titles in 2016 and now, on 31st August 2018 they will—at last—be coming to the Xbox. For anybody who is a fan of horror games but haven’t played ‘Amnesia’ yet then it’s a must buy – forget the age of the game, the graphics still hold their own and it’s a game that is bound to make you jump at least a few times.

The developers haven’t said if there will be any changes on the Xbox version, such as whether it will be One X enhanced or not, and they haven’t even commented on the price yet; all we know is that it’s coming soon.

Xbox users have sadly become used to having to wait for popular multi-platform titles to come to the console; a two year wait is quite a long time (most PS4 players are probably finished with it by now and PC players have forgotten it even existed), No Man’s Sky was also released on the Xbox two years after the PS4 release (though, this one was probably worth the wait).

However, Microsoft seem to be working hard on getting titles to the Xbox not only sooner but also first – for example, PUBG is not on the PS4 yet and DayZ will also be releasing on the Xbox first – as well as these already established titles, Microsoft announced a handful of new studios that will be developing Xbox exclusive titles, so hopefully in the future the competition between who has the best games and most exclusives is a fair one, as over the past few years it’s been dominated by Sony.
