Another week, another fortune spent on the games industry by the UK consumer. I actually can’t think of a better way to spend my spare cash than on computer games, but then again, I’m a nerd.
This week sees Nintendo return to the top of the UK physical sales chart with their new exclusive Switch platformer Yoshi’s Crafted World.
This week was a particularly competitive week in the chart, with Yoshi only just beating Ubisoft’s The Division 2 to the top spot. The Division 2 has impressed us massively here at BuffNuffRepeat – check out our podcast to hear our thoughts on the game.
Last weeks chart topper, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, is still going strong at No.3 in the charts. Sekiro is an extremely popular game for viewers on streaming service Twitch, and was in the top 5 for most of the weekend.
New entry Assassins Creed III: Remastered debuts at No.9, whilst 1980’s set open-world shooter Generation Zero makes it to No.19.
Disappointingly, Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season fell short of the top 20, debuting at No.23, with open-world RPG Outwards hitting No.24.
You can view the full top 10 below. Remember that the chart includes physical sales numbers only, not digital sales:
