Jade is the latest character to join Mortal Kombat 11’s roster

NetherRealm has revealed another character that will be joining the roster of playable characters in Mortal Kombat 11, and it’s none other than fan favourite Jade.

Jade is a series regular, of course, having first appeared as a non-playable character in Mortal Kombat 2 before making her playable debut in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. She hasn’t been included in a title since 2011’s Mortal Kombat though, so it’ll be good to see her back involved in Mortal Kombat 11. Jade was revealed in her official reveal trailer which became available yesterday, but it’s not the most romantic thing that you and your partner could watch. Check it out below:

The trailer shows Jade adorned in her traditional green get-up and armed with her trusty Bo Staff and Razorrang. As you’d expect, the trailer isn’t for the feint of heart, and her fatality is as brutal as ever. Mortal Kombat 11 seems to have a bit of a thing for eyeballs being popped out, it’s definitely been a recurring theme in these reveal trailers as of late.

Jade will be joining other series regulars Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Sonya Blade, Baraka, and the recently announced Kabal and D’Vorah on Mortal Kombat 11’s roster.

Mortal Kombat 11 will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Tuesday 23rd April, before making its way to the Nintendo Switch at some point in May. PS4 and Xbox One players won’t have to wait until April to check out the game though, as a closed beta is scheduled to take place on those platforms at the end of March.
