Rainbow Six Siege is getting two new Operators

G’day mate! Ubisoft has announced two new Aussie operators that are coming to Rainbow Six: Siege as part of the upcoming Operation: Burnt Horizon update.

The operators are two friends known as Gridlock and Mozzie, who met at a “robot destruct-o-rama” years back when they were in their teens, and they’ve been deployed together ever since they were both called in to help fight a massive bushfire as part of the Defence Force. Interestingly, despite this backstory, Ubisoft has decided to put Gridlock and Mozzie on opposite sides of the fight in Rainbow Six Siege.

Tori “Gridlock” Tallyo Fairous, a farm girl from Queensland, is an Attacker who will use her Trax Stingers—which were originally designed as anti-vehicle measures—to control maps. Max “Mozzie” Goose, meanwhile, will be a Defender who is equipped with a gadget known as a “Pest”, which can be used to prevent the enemy from gathering intel on your team.

Ubisoft promises to reveal more information on the characters and the Operation: Burnt Horizon event on Sunday 17th February at the Rainbow Six Siege Invitational event. We’ll update you on the details when they become available. Until then, let’s put another shrimp on the bar-bay!
