Halo Master Chief Collection

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to the Xbox Game Pass

If you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber then you’re probably already pretty happy with the service; for your £7.99 a month you get access to over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 games as well as all Xbox exclusives such as Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and the upcoming Forza Horizon 4.

Well, just to please you a bit more, you’re now getting another four brilliant games added to your collection.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be arriving on the Xbox Game Pass on 1st September 2018. The collection includes Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4. The game pass release will also offer improved matchmaking, offline LAN and it will be updated for Xbox One X visual enhancements.

The Master Chief Collection is already four years old and launched with a whole host of problems that have since been corrected (why do so many games do this?) and it’s still strongly supported by 343 industries, meaning that if you’ve never played a Halo game before (seriously, what is wrong with you?) then now is the perfect time to play through Master Chiefs epic journey from the very beginning. If you have already played the Halo series, then play it again, it’s bloody brilliant.

An Xbox Game Pass app has also launched on iOS and Android – don’t get too excited though, it only lets you manage your account, it doesn’t mean you can start playing Xbox One games on your phone. How cool would that be though?
