Sucker Punch Productions’ highly-anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive, Ghost of Tsushima, will launch in Summer 2020.
The release window was announced at The Game Awards 2019 where, as promised during this weeks State of Play livestream, Sony showed off some more of the game. The extended trailer showed off some more lovely cinematics as well as some quick snippets of gameplay. Check it out below:
Sucker Punch Productions are best known for their work on the PlayStation-exclusive Infamous series, but Ghost of Tsushima sounds like their boldest effort yet. In a blog post earlier today, Sucker Punch’s Communications Manager Andrew Goldfarb said that Ghost of Tsushima is “the biggest game Sucker Punch has ever made by a wide margin”, claiming that while the new trailer includes some quick glimpses of the “vibrant, diverse open world you’ll get to explore”, it has “barely scratched the surface”. Goldfarb also took the opportunity to unveil the box art for the game, which shows the games protagonist Jin wearing his Ghost Armor while a growing storm looms behind him.
Ghost of Tsushima will launch for PlayStation 4 is Summer 2020. No exact release date was given, but as usual we’ll keep you updated as and when that information becomes available.
