Anthem Update 1.0.3 is out now and brings with it a lot of fixes

BioWare has just released a hefty update for Anthem which brings with it a whole host of welcomed changes and fixes. It doesn’t fix everything, far from it, and it doesn’t even fix enough things for us to modify our Anthem review, but it is a step in the right direction.

The update brings with it stability improvements across the board for all platforms, which should solve most of the crashing and network issues that were reported.

Other stand out changes include:

Players may now launch an expedition from anywhere within the launch bay and Fort Tarsis: There’s now no need to walk at an annoyingly slow pace to launch an expedition when in Fort Tarsis. This also fixes the launch bay bug which stopped you launching a mission.

Common and Uncommon drops will no longer appear for players that are level 30: This is a great change and will make improving your power level and finding good gear a bit less time consuming when you hit level 30.

The Colossus can now shield charge through destructible objects: This was an annoying bug for all Colossus players, but from now on when you shield charge you won’t be stopped by explosive canisters and harvest nodes.

The Monitor and Titans have been nerfed: The Monitor has had his health ‘greatly’ reduced when facing him in the Heart of Rage Stronghold, which should make the Stronghold a little less time consuming considering he wasn’t particularly difficult in the first place, but he was a massive bullet sponge. Titans have also been nerfed, as weak points will now stay active for longer and their attacks should be easier to dodge.

As I said previously, this is a step in the right direction for Anthem and the update addresses a number of annoying issues, you can read the full patch notes, including all of the other changes not mentioned here, on Reddit.
