Ubisoft are taking steps to try and ensure that The Division 2 sells well on PC, and the offer of a free game is a good way to do just that. Players who digitally pre-order The Division 2 on PC will be awarded a free game, with a choice of three to pick from.
To be specific, the games on offer are the standard digital edition of Watch Dogs 2, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recond Wildlands, or Far Cry Primal. All you have to do is digitally pre-order Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 before Thursday 14th March and you’ll be able to pick one of those games for free. It’s a good offer, as all three of those games are well worth experiencing, particularly if you can get them for free – all three of them currently retail for £40-£50 on Steam. If you and a few of your mates are considering pre-ordering then I recommend that you all claim Ghost Recon Wildlands as your free game, as it’s great fun and is best experienced with friends. If you’re more of a lone wolf then you should definitely choose either Watch Dogs 2 or Far Cry Primal instead.
If you were unsure about pre-ordering The Division 2 before then this may well just sway your opinion, if you were going to pre-order anyway then this is an added bonus for you. If you’re still unsure about whether to pre-order or not then don’t forget that The Division 2 will be getting a public beta next month, so you will be able to check out the game before making your decision.
You can digitally pre-order The Division 2 through Ubisoft’s store, its distribution partners, or on the Epic Games Store, who took the game away from Steam last month. If you’ve already pre-ordered prior to this announcement then there’s no need to be frustrated, you are still eligible for this offer. To claim your free game just follow this link. You have until Sunday 31st March to claim your reward.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will launch on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on Friday 15th March.
