Xbox Game Pass gets three more additions

The Xbox Game Pass just seems to get bulkier and bulkier, with Microsoft doing a great job of keeping their service fresh and updated. Now, details have emerged about three more titles coming to the service.

The first of these new titles is The Gardens Between, a puzzle game from The Voxel Agents that originally released on Nintendo Switch, PC and PS4 back in September. The game has a gorgeous art-style and some great music, and received generally positive reviews when it released. It’s another great addition for the Xbox Game Pass, which just keeps increasing in popularity and reputation. The Gardens Between is available right now on the Xbox Game Pass, and you can check out the launch trailer below:

The second title coming to the Xbox Game Pass is Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, a tactical adventure game that is described on its official website as “combining the turn-based combat of XCOM with story, exploration, stealth, and strategy. Take control of a team of Mutants navigating a post-human Earth. Created by a team including former HITMAN leads and the designer of PAYDAY.” Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is developed by Bearded Ladies (that’s the name of the company, not a description of its employees) and it will launch on the Xbox Game Pass on December 4th. Check out some footage of the game in the video below, in which a Bearded Bloke tells us that “it’s very important when you approach any encounter in this game to plan. Plan, plan, plan. It’s all about planning.” He sounds like my old History teacher.

The third game coming to the Xbox Game Pass will be Strange Brigade, a co-op third-person shooter by Rebellion Developments that originally released on Xbox One, PS4 and PC back in August. Strange Brigade, which will arrive on the Xbox Game Pass on December 6th, sees players take control of a 1930’s adventurer, teaming up with other players to stand against the fearsome power of Seteki the Witch Queen (and her army of mummies) who has risen once again. Strange Brigade allows players to “explore remarkable ruins, solve perilous puzzles and uncover tantalising treasure while blasting your way through an array of undead enemies in thrilling third-person action that’s certain to bring out your inner adventurer!”. Strange Brigade received mixed reviews upon its release, although it’s important to point out that the Xbox One version got better reviews than other platforms. Want a video for this one too? No problem.

I really like these additions to the Xbox Game Pass. They’re all good games and they’ll offer more variety and choice for players. Not only that, but these are games that would probably (undeservedly) be ignored by a large number of gamers who only want to fork out for massive, AAA releases, but the Xbox Game Pass will give games like these more opportunities to get the attention that they deserve.
