You there, freebie lover, I have some great news for you.
EA have announced that for one week after the Battlefield V open beta ends, players will be able to get hold of the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass for free. Yes, completely free.
The Battlefield V open beta runs from September 6th-September 11th, and the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass will then be available for absolutely diddly-squat from September 11th until September 18th.
The Premium Pass (which will not be featured in Battlefield V) consists of four expansions – They Shall Not Pass, In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides and Apocalypse. These expansions feature new maps, Operations and Elite classes.
In a post on their website, EA said “Battlefield 1 Premium Pass is a great way for Battlefield 1 base game owners to play all the great post-launch content and whet your appetite as we enter mankind’s greatest conflict in Battlefield V, come November,”
Following the news that Battlefield V has now been delayed until November 20th, getting the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass for free could be the perfect way to keep yourself occupied until the new game hits the shelves, not to mention that playing Battlefield 1 in the lead up to Battlefield V will allow you to unlock weapon skins and special tags for use in Battlefield V.
