November’s Games with Gold lineup has been announced, with four games available for free for both Xbox Live and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
Here are the release dates, platforms, and the normal prices of Novembers Games with Gold:
- Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter ($54.99): Available Nov. 1 to 30 on Xbox One
- The Final Station ($14.99): Available Nov. 16 to Dec. 15 on Xbox One
- Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter ($9.99): Available Nov. 1-15 on Xbox One and Xbox 360
- Joy Ride Turbo ($9.99): Available Nov. 16-30 on Xbox One and Xbox 360
The standout title for November is obviously Sherlock Holmes: The Devils Daughter. Released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 25th October 2016, the game involves exploring crime scenes and examining clues – pretty much what you’d expect from a Sherlock Holmes game. The game received pretty mixed reviews at release, however anyone that’s a fan of adventure mystery games or those that enjoyed its predecessor, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, should enjoy this one. The Final Station, meanwhile, is a single player side-scrolling shooter with elements of a train sim. It was released on Xbox One in August 2016 to mostly positive reviews.
On the backwards compatibility wise, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter is an action shooter set in the Star Wars universe. Here, players take control of different Starfighters as they attempt to complete missions based around protecting friendly ships and destroying enemy ships. Joy Ride Turbo, meanwhile, is a kart racer that was released in 2012 for the Xbox 360. Here, you race cars with power-ups over several race tracks in a similar fashion to most kart games on the market.
Remember that Xbox Live Gold subscribers can still pick up a couple of October’s Games with Gold. Ninja Gaiden 3 is available until tomorrow, October 31st, and Friday the 13th: The Game is available until November 15th.
