The Epic Games Store is beginning to gather some momentum, with some decent exclusives available both now and coming soon. It that wasn’t enough, you can now pick up the excellent ocean survival game, Subnautica, for free.

Subnautica is available for free up until 27th December when it will return to it’s normal price of £19.49. Then, from the 28th December, gamers can pick up the popular Super Meat Boy (again for free) until 10th January. This follows the news that Epic will offer a free game every two weeks.

The Epic Game Store may still be in it’s infancy but it’s already starting to show why it looks set to rival Steam. We’ve seen some decent games launching on the store, like the Dark Soul inspired ‘Ashen’ and Supergiant Games impressive looking rogue-like Hades, which is currently available in early access.
