In yet another small victory for Epic Games, Shakedown: Hawaii—a new game from developer Vblank Entertainment—will be released as a PC timed-exclusive on the Epic Games Store sometime in the spring, it was announced today.
Vblank Entertainment are the studio that developed the impressive open world action-adventure game Retro City Rampage. Rampage is a parody of retro games and pop culture from the ’80s and ’90s, so it’s no surprise that Vblank’s latest venture also uses a colorful 16-bit retro presentation to bring it’s stylish open-world to life.
In Shakedown: Hawaii, players will build and expand their business empire by any means necessary. Whether that be from violently taking down competitors, shaking down rival businesses for protection money, or by completing missions, re-zoning land, and building a more legitimate corporation.

The Epic Games Store continues to grow and impress with exclusive titles and high quality free games. Although no exclusivity arrangements were disclosed, acquiring another title as a PC timed-exclusive will be sure to bolster an already growing library of games.
Shakedown: Hawaii will also release on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS.
