Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice gets a launch trailer

With less than two weeks to go until the release of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, developers From Software has released an almost 3-minute launch trailer for the game, and it’s absolutely awesome. Check it out below:

The trailer shows our protagonist, The Wolf, in some pretty badass action sequences against some intimidating bosses. Our first glimpse of Wolfy shows him taking on an enormous bull who has a massive fiery log attached to his head, charging around smashing down everything in its path like the proverbial bull in a china shop.

The remainder of the trailer shows The Wolf taking on numerous human enemies in all manner of ways, with gruesome stealth assassinations and fast-paced sword to sword combat both shown throughout. The last twenty seconds or so show The Wolf taking on an enormous creature, being swung about like a child until he manages to regroup and take down the beast, beheading it in the process.

Sekiro looks intense, gruesome, and difficult, which is just what you’d expect in a game by From Software, who are best known as the makers of the Dark Souls series and Bloodborne.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Friday 22nd March.
