Storm Rising—the next chapter of Overwatch’s Archives event—starts tomorrow, and to get players in the mood Blizzard has released a new trailer for the mode.
Storm Rising will introduce a new PvE event based around a four-player squad heading to Cuba to try and track down an Omnic called Maximilien, who just so happens to be Doomfist’s accountant. The four-player squad will consist of Mercy, Genji, Tracer, and Winston, all of which make an appearance in the trailer, and we also get our closest look yet at Maximilien, who does his best impression of Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget. Check it out below:
Storm Rising will also add numerous cosmetics to the game, including plenty of new skins for various characters. You can check out all of the skins on the Overwatch Twitter account—including Junkrat looking like The Joker and Baptiste during his Talon days—but the standout for me has to be this new skin called Formal: 76, which has everyone’s favourite soldier looking like an absolute hunk.
Save the medals, I’ve had my fill. ?️
Commemorate your glory as FORMAL: 76 (Legendary)!

Aside from the new PvE event and the new skins, Storm Rising will also make the previous Archives event’s PvE modes available to play. That means that you’ll be able to play both Uprising and Retribution all over again alongside the new mode.
Overwatch: Storm Rising runs from Tuesday 16th April until Monday 6th May.
