Yep, Blizzard have confirmed via Twitter that the Overwatch Summer Games will be returning on August 9th and running through until August 30th.
The Overwatch Summer Games have taken place every year since the games launch and we have no reason to expect anything different from this years event. Expect new skins, sprays and emotes as well as some returning cosmetics from previous years. Also expect to see the return of the Rocket League inspired Lucioball, the 3 vs 3 brawl mode that can be great fun to play with friends.
Also, Twitch Prime members can currently link their Blizzard accounts to receive in-game rewards, namely two loot boxes that contain items for the newest hero, everybody’s favourite hamster-in-a-mech, Wrecking Ball.
