Operation Grand Heist now live on PC and Xbox One

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s massive Operation Grand Heist update, which went live on the PlayStation 4 last week, is now available for PC and Xbox One players.

The update brings a whole host of new features, including the return of the Black Ops 3 Specialist, Outrider, who comes to Black Ops 4 equipped with her trusty explosive-tipped-arrow-firing Sparrow and a new piece of equipment known as the Hawk, which will automatically tag enemies that are in its view. There’s also a new party game available in Multiplayer known as One in the Chamber, which sees all players spawn in with just three lives and a pistol with one bullet; hitting a perfect shot will award with 100 points and one more bullet, so don’t fire unless you’re confident you won’t miss. There are also three new weapons available on the Black Market, namely the Switchblade X9, the Rampage full-auto shotgun, and the Cha-Ching! melee weapon. Black Ops Pass holders also get two new multiplayer maps: Lockup, which takes place in an L.A. Police Station, and Casino, which is set in a gambling resort in Monaco. The long-awaited competitive portion of Black Ops 4, League Play, will also launch on Thursday

On the Blackout side of things, there’s a brand new destination called Ghost Town in the southeast desert portion of the map. Ghost Town is made up of two locations, Outlaw and Buried, the first of which is a reimagining of Black Ops 2 map “Standoff”, and the latter of which is a Zombies-inspired underground cavern that’s full of some flesh-eating foes. Treyarch has also mixed up the rest of the map a bit, adding loads of new buildings and locations throughout the map. A Prestige system has also been added to Blackout mode, allowing players that have reached max level 80 to start all over again up to 10 times. Black Ops Pass holders also get some value for their money with the addition of a new Blackout character, Cosmic Silverback, who is a character from the secret Dead Ops Arcade level of the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. On Friday, a new game mode will launch in Blackout called Hot Pursuit, which tasks players with searching for stashes and cash across the map, claiming victory by earning the most money. Three new vehicles come with that mode, specifically the SUV, Muscle Car, and the PBR.

Zombies wise, there’s a new gauntlet called “Death-Con Five” that’s set on the “Classified” map, which incidentally is now also available to buy as a standalone map rather than being tied in to the Black Ops Pass. There’s also a new Zombies perk called Ethereal Razor which does “devastating” melee damage, and players can now equip and customize Signature Weapons in the Armory.

Aside from that, the Black Market has been revamped alongside the return of Blackjack, and the new 100 Tier Contraband stream features all kinds of goodies to unlock, such as Mastercraft weapons, reactive camos and outfits.

As always, you can read the full patch notes here.
