Three more NES games will be making their way to the Switch next week for all Nintendo online subscription users (yes, you need a subscription to play these games). The three games include Ninja Gaiden, Wario’s Woods and Adventures of Lolo, and all three will be available for download next week on December 12th.
Who needs to buy a NES mini when you can play classic NES games on the go with the Switch.
The original Ninja Gaiden game is my personal favorite on this list, though I’m not sure how much I’ll like it now after playing the incredible Xbox version which was released a mere 16 years later, but it should bring back some good memories at least; I’ve missed my dear friend Ryu Hayabusa.
If you’re a fan of puzzle games like Tetris then Wario’s Woods will be the game of choice for you. It’s basically Tetris flipped on its head; instead of turning and moving the blocks as they’re falling, you instead control Toad who can pickup and move the blocks to the desired location. It’s great fun and it supports multiplayer too!
Finally, we have Adventures of Lolo; another puzzle game, but this time you’re solving clever environmental puzzles over 50 rooms. This, coupled with tricky enemies, makes this game a bit of a challenge to complete, but it gives you a great sense of achievement when/if you do.
We’re loving the title choices here from Nintendo, let’s hope this trend continues into next year!
