Mortal Kombat 11 announced

Get over here! I have some news for you. Sorry, I’ll get back to the point. Mortal Kombat 11 has been announced for PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, and it looks as gruesome as ever.

The game was announced at The Game Awards by way of an official announce trailer, which shows a tense, crunching and incredibly violent showdown between series staples Scorpion and Raiden. The trailer also features a pretty out of place hip-hop soundtrack – this ain’t Def Jam, lads. You can watch the trailer below:

As noted at the end of the trailer, pre-ordering the game will unlock Shao Kahn as well as access to the closed beta, which will take place on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in March 2019.

Mortal Kombat 11, which is being developed by NetherRealm, is due to launch on April 23rd 2019.
