Midnight Ghost Hunt enters Alpha this summer

Vaulted Sky Games has shown off a new trailer for their upcoming “ghostly hide-and-seek” game Midnight Ghost Hunt, and it looks like it could be a great laugh for fans of multiplayer titles.

Midnight Ghost Hunt will pit a team of Ghosts against a team of Ghost Hunters, all of which will be controlled by human players. The ghosts’ main objective is to not get caught, so hiding is the name of the game. Ghosts will be able to disguise themselves as inanimate objects such as a chair or a lamp as they attempt to hide in plain sight, but they will also be able to knock out an unsuspecting Ghost Hunter if they manage to catch them isolated.

Ghost Hunters, meanwhile, will be able to channel their inner Ghostbuster as they search for the Ghosts. Wearing hazmat suits and equipped with all sorts of spectre-detecting gadgets, Ghost Hunters are tasked with hunting down and destroying all of the Ghosts before the clock strikes midnight. If the clock strikes midnight and there are still some Ghosts that have survived, then the tables turn and the hunters become the hunted – all destroyed Ghosts will “return as vengeful spirits”, and the Ghost Hunters will have to try and survive until morning. Of course, all of this takes place in a large, creepy, old house. Check out the trailer below:

Midnight Ghost Hunt is scheduled to enter Alpha later this Summer. You can sign up for a chance to play the game here.
