Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is 80% off on Steam

We have another bargain for you – you can currently grab Chivalry: Medieval Warfare for 80% off on Steam until Monday 17th June.

Specifically, you can grab the core game for just £3.79, down from £18.99, or you can get the Chivalry: Complete Pack for £5.39, down from £26.99. The Complete Pack gives you the core game and the Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior expansion pack, which adds new weapons, environments, game modes, and classes such as Samurai’s and Vikings. For the sake of an extra £1.60 it’s definitely worth punting for the Complete Pack.

This is an offer that might interest people who are intrigued by the game having seen today’s announcement of Chivalry 2, which is due to release next year. Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is a multiplayer first-person slasher that is inspired by medieval battle movies such as 300 and Braveheart. The game features competitive online combat that “seeks to capture the experience of truly being on a medieval battlefield”.

The game supports up to 32 players in “fast paced online battles besieging castles, raiding medieval villages and fighting for glory”. The game has achieved great success since its release in 2012 but it has been somewhat usurped by the release of MORDHAU, which released to great reviews back in April. You could check that out instead, and it will definitely be more populated, but it will set you back £23.79.

It’s probably worth keeping your eye on Steam though, as today’s announcement may just lead to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare getting a bit of a revival, and if it does you’ll be able to join in for a fiver – as long as you act before Monday 17th June. Lovely stuff.
