Post-apocalyptic PS4 exclusive, Days Gone, has been delayed until April 26th 2019.
It was originally slated for a 2018 release before being pushed back to February 2019. According to developer Bend Studio, this further delay is to allow them to “take the opportunity to further polish Days Gone”. But in a blog post announcing the delay, Sony said that they had “recently decided to move the release of Days Gone from the crowded February time frame”.
This is probably a decision that has been made to stop Days Gone’s sales figures being hampered by the release of Crackdown 3, Anthem and Metro Exodus, which all release in February.
People that have been eagerly-awaiting the release of Days Gone will no doubt be frustrated to see yet another delay for the game that was first announced way back at E3 2016, let’s just hope that it’s worth the wait.
