These trailers for Mortal Kombat 11 are coming thick and fast, and Cassie Cage is the latest playable character to get her own reveal trailer, which also gives us our first real look at Kano in MK11. You can check out the trailer below:
Cassie Cage, the daughter of Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage, made her debut in 2015’s Mortal Kombat X. She’s very much a combination of both of her parents, featuring both her mothers looks and the sharp wit and cocky attitude of her father. Cassie was trained by both of her parents, so she has a move set that is reminiscent of both of them.
She does seem to spend a large amount of time of her reveal trailer getting beaten up by Kano which seems a bit strange, but she does also get plenty of her own offence in, utilizing both her signature pistol and using assistance from a drone, which seems to be a new companion of hers for Mortal Kombat 11. Her fatality is as brutal as ever, as she charges towards her opponent filling their chest with lead, before delivery a kick straight to the cash and prizes so powerful that it causes both their spine and skull to fly out of their body. Ouch.
Of course, we already knew that both Cassie Cage and Kano would be involved in Mortal Kombat 11 – we got our first real look at Cassie in yesterdays story trailer which confirmed that she would be making her second appearance of the season, and Kano is the epitome of a series staple having made his debut in the original game of the series.
Mortal Kombat 11 will release on Tuesday 23rd April for the Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
