Respawn Entertainment has released the second patch for their phenomenally successful Titanfall-themed battle royale shooter Apex Legends, addressing a number of crashing issues with the game.
The patch is available right now for all platforms, and it fixes a bug that was causing Mirage’s abilities to crash the game. There was also a bug where players would sometimes move slowly after a revive, but this has been fixed too.
There are some PS4 specific fixes, including another crashing bug that was sometimes occurring when players were pressing buttons during the load process, and issues with GPU hangs have also been resolved. Xbox One players will notice an improvement too, as Gibraltar Epic skins will no longer crash the game when players have them equipped.
It’s good to see Respawn being quick to address these issues as they look to keep their current craze in tip top shape. Respawn seem to know that they may have something special on their hands and don’t want to let anything put that in jeapordy – just a couple of days ago we told you that over 16,000 cheaters have already been banned from the game.
By the way, if you’re struggling a bit in Apex Legends then you’re in luck – Ricky has been posting guides to help you out, including Beginners Tips & How To Win More and How To Get The Best Loot, and he has more on the way.
