Back in 2008, The Last Remnant was released on the Xbox 360 and was subsequently ported to the PC in 2009. Square Enix also promised PlayStation gamers that the game would eventually come to PS3, but it never did.
Well, it looks like Square Enix are determined to keep their promise one way or another. They have confirmed today that The Last Remnant is getting a full remaster, exclusively for the PS4, and it will release worldwide on December 6th. The game will cost £16 and will only be available to purchase through the PlayStation Store.
The game originally released to a mixed reception with a lot of people complaining of long load times and other technical hitches, but the upgrade to a better system may hopefully see these issues eradicated.
Last week, the game was inexplicably removed from Steam with no explanation offered by Square Enix, but now we know why.
