The Crew 2 free this weekend at Green Man Gaming

I love free games and I cannot lie! Well to be honest, this one is only free for a weekend and it is a bit shit, so I’d say I’m more fond of it than in love with it.

As the title suggests, The Crew 2 can be played for free all weekend on Ubisoft’s Uplay platform until 16th December, courtesy of Green Man Gaming. All you have to do is sign in or register on the site then hit the ‘Play Now’ button to gain access to The Crew 2 for free.

If, after your free weekend, you’re still craving some more racing action then feel free to purchase Forza Horizon 4. Alternatively, you can get a massive 71% off The Crew 2, bringing the price down from £49.99 to £14.52 on the Green Man Gaming store. That’s not a bad price for the game, but please note that the game has been on offer over at Steam on numerous occasions.

The Crew 2 is an open world racing video game developed by Ivory Tower and published by Ubisoft, and it was released on June 29th 2018. It requires a constant internet connection to play and features an open world environment that players are free to drive around. The Crew 2 let’s players take control of a variety of vehicles including cars, motorcycles, boats, and airplanes. There are four disciplines to test your driving skills in: Street Racing, Off Road, Freestyle and Pro Racing, so expect plenty of variety to your racing action.

The Crew 2 is an average racing game and the reviews over on metacritic have it receiving sub-par to average reviews. Don’t let that put you off, however, as The Crew 2 features some decent arcade-style racing with fantastic looking environments and weather effects as well as a large-scaled version of America to explore. For a free weekends play, The Crew 2 is definitely worth a download. Enjoy!
