Black Friday may have been and gone but gaming deals last forever, well, sort of. Currently, you can pick up the fantastic Surviving Mars on the PC at cdkeys.com for a mere £6.99. That’s a massive 80% saving on the £34.99 RRP.
Surviving Mars is a strategy city builder developed by Haemimont Games and published by Paradox Interactive. It was released in March this year on PC, Xbox and PS4 to largely decent reviews. The game currently holds a 76 Metascore over at Metacritic.
In Surviving Mars your goal is to build a self-sustainable colony on the surface of Mars (surprisingly). Your colony has to survive the elements and sustain human habitation. Players choose a space agency for resources and financial support before determining a location for a colony. As with most base builders, infrastructure will need to be researched and built to expand your colony, and defences must be installed to protect those who live on the red planet.

If you’re a fan of base building and/or strategy games, we highly recommend you pick up Surviving Mars for such a good price. The game looks fantastic, and although it’s come under fire lately from the gaming community over on Steam, it’s still a fantastic game that’s well worth a try at 6 quid.
