The best football game at playing actual football just gave PS4 owners a reason to play it.
FIFA may have won both the battle and the war this year, but that doesn’t make PES 2019 a bad game. In fact, for on the field action, we make PES 2019 the better game of the two. Our very own football fanatic Chris enjoyed his time playing PES, as did many other critics, with the game reaching a Metascore of 79 over at metacritic.
If it wasn’t for EA’s money and licences, the battle for the footballing video game title would be a hell of a lot closer. We weren’t impressed with FIFA this year, with Chris scoring the game a less-than-exciting 6 out of 10 in his review, so if you feel the same way and licences and FUT don’t mean that much to you, why not give PES 2019 a try.
