Doom and RAGE added to Xbox Game Pass

Are you a maniac who enjoys hectic, FPS bloodfests of carnage? Perfect. I have some great news for you.

During the keynote presentation at QuakeCon, Bethesda announced that 2011’s RAGE and 2016’s Doom are now available on the Xbox Game Pass. The Xbox Game Pass is a subscription-based service that will cost you £7.99 a month and will give you access to over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles, with new games being added monthly.

The timing of these two titles being added is no coincidence, as Bethesda has RAGE 2 and Doom Eternal in development; meaning that this is the perfect opportunity for people who haven’t already played the original games to play through them before the new games are released.

Of course, if you don’t have the Xbox Game Pass (and you don’t want to get it) but this has enticed you into wanting to play Doom and RAGE, you will be able to pick them up pretty cheap anyway – both games are great and we highly recommend them.
