February’s PlayStation Plus games announced

Sony has announced the lineup of games that will be available for PS Plus subscribers during the month of February.

PlayStation 4 players will be able to get their hands on Ubisoft’s 2017 action fighting game For Honor and Square Enix’s Hitman: The Complete First Season, which was released in episodic form back in 2016. Both of these games will be available from Tuesday 5th February. It’s not just games that are coming PS4 owners way this month, though, as Sony are also increasing the limit of players cloud storage ten fold, with the limit jumping from 10 GB all the way up to a whopping 100 GB. Very generous.

February will be the last month that there are offerings for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita owners, but Sony are sending them out with a bang. PS3 owners get the phenomenal Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, which debuted all the way back in 2008, and 2013’s 2D fighting game Divekick will also be available. For PS Vita players, your offerings are 2018’s tower defense puzzle game Gunhouse and 2D air combat game Rogue Aces, which also released in 2018.

It’s a good send off for PS3 and PS Vita players, with Metal Gear Solid 4 and Rogue Aces in particular being great offerings for each respective console. The PS3 and PS Vita offerings will be available for a few extra days, until Friday 8th March to be specific, due to the fact that this is the last month that games will be offered for those consoles as part of PS Plus subscriptions.

All of these games will become available on Tuesday 5th February. Don’t forget that you can still grab January’s free games until that date too, which include Portal Knight, Steep, Amplitude, and Zone of the Enders HS Collection.
