The Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be launching on Tuesday 3rd March 2020, and it will be a PS4 timed-exclusive for a year.
The timed-exclusivity hasn’t been officially been confirmed yet, but it is all but confirmed after renowned tipster Wario64 leaked the updated box art over on Twitter, revealing a small disclaimer in the bottom right corner which slates the game as a timed-exclusive until March 3rd 2021.

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake is scheduled to be released in episodes, and it’s currently unclear how this is going to effect the timed-exclusivity. It could be that each episode is a timed-exclusive for a year, or it could mean that other platforms have to wait a year for the first episode and then subsequent episodes will be released at a faster rate. We’ll have to wait for further news on that front, but as usual we’ll keep you updated as and when that information becomes available.
