Wolfenstein: Youngblood update adds two new locations

Wolfenstein: Youngblood’s Update 1.0.7 is now live on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 (sorry Nintendo Switch players), adding a whole bunch of new content.

According to the update’s notes, a new side quest called “Treasure Hunt” will now be made available once players have completed the endgame side mission “Da’at Yichud Artifacts”. In “Treasure Hunt”, players will be taken through two new locations, a Parisian reservoir and a secret Nazi bunker, in a quest to unlock the Da’at Yichud chest. The quest will also introduce three new enemy types: the “Wurmlochsoldat (Teleporting Übersoldier), the Electrodrohne (Tesla Drone), and the Turmhund (Laserhund with a turret)”, all of which will be found in these new locations. Completing “Treasure Hunt” will update your journal will a list of 20 Treasure Maps which will lead you to various artifacts scattered around Paris, giving you the opportunity to earn XP, Silver Coins, and extra Ability Points.

Speaking of abilities, the update also adds new abilities to all three ability trees, including the likes of Quick Revive, Dual Wield Expert, and Silent Killer. There’s also a new Power ability called God Key Sense, which will help you locate hidden treasure throughout the world. You won’t need to spend any Ability Points to get this ability, as it will automatically be given to you when you finish the “Da’at Yichud Artifacts” mission. There are also two new Pep Signals: the first is Hammer Rage, which will restore Heavy Weapon ammo for you and your buddy; and then there’s Quad Damage, which will grant you and your sibling quadruple damage for four seconds. Additionally, the update also adds a bunch of new skins, all of which you can see below.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood’s Update 1.0.7 is now live on PC, Xbox One, and PS4, and it will be coming to the Nintendo Switch “soon”. There’s no exact date on when that will be, but we’ll keep you updated as and when that information becomes available.
