Christmas has come early for players of Spider-Man PS4 – the much requested Sam Raimi suit has been added to the game, and it’s absolutely free.
The Sam Raimi suit is the suit that our favourite web slinger wore back in Tobey Maguire’s era as Peter Parker. That covers Spider-Man (2002), which saw Spidey take on the Green Goblin; Spider-Man 2 (2004), which introduced the infamous Doctor Octopus to the series; and Spider-Man 3 (2007), which gave us both Sandman and our first look at Venom on the big screen long before Tom Hardy got infected.
The first two films in the series were great—particularly Spider-Man 2—but it ended on a sour note with Spider-Man 3, the less of which is said the better. I’m sure we all remember THAT Venom scene. Anyway, as more and more suits have been added to Spider-Man PS4, the Sam Raimi suit has been conspicuous by its absence, with many fans championing for its inclusion. Now, not only has it been added, but its been added for free to all players.

So, what are you waiting for? Boot up your PS4, get your Sam Raimi suit on and get out there and fight some crime. Just do me a favour and don’t go near any Jazz clubs.
