Nintendo Switch Online is free for a year with Twitch Prime

Twitch Prime strikes again, and this time they’re offering you up to 12 months worth of a Switch online subscription (which for anyone who owns a Switch and already has Prime is a freaking great deal) which saves you £17.99.

You can claim the first free 3 months of Switch Online right now, and to unlock the other 9 months you have to remain a Prime member for 2 months (60 days). After those 60 days are up you can navigate back to the Prime rewards page and claim the extra 90 days. This part is a little annoying and requires you to actually remember to go back and claim it after 60 days (set a reminder in your calendar) but it’s obviously so people don’t sign up to Prime for one month just to claim it, which is fair enough. Who doesn’t have Prime these days anyway?

There are some deadlines on this – you must claim the first code (3 months) by the 24th of September and the remaining 9 months by the 22nd of January 2020, so you have plenty of time, and it’s also important to note that if you already have a Switch Online subscription when you claim these codes they will stack on top of the time you already have.

If you have a Nintendo Switch but haven’t tried Switch Online yet then you should, it not only allows you to play with your friends (and randoms) online but it also gives you access to cloud saves and a whole library of classic NES games, with new games added monthly.
