My Time at Portia

My Time at Portia is coming to consoles on 16th April

Cutesy life simulator My Time at Portia has been given a console release date of Tuesday 16th April for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Check out the console release trailer here:

Portia released on Steam back in January after an extended period in early access. A release on the Epic Game Store followed shortly after, and now console gamers will get to enjoy all that Portia has to offer.

Tasks vary from resource gathering, crafting, and fishing, to delving into ancient dungeons, fighting monsters, and riding llamas around town. Portia has a hell of a lot to see and do, with around 60-100 hours worth of content on offer depending on your play style.

Just like Stardew Valleya game that Portia has taken much inspiration fromwe expect Portia to be very well suited to the Nintendo Switch in particular, with the consoles portability and pick-up-and-play style seeming to be absolutely perfect for the game.

Portia was very well received by critics and gamers on PC, currently holding a “Very Positive” score on Steam and a respectable 73 over at Metacritic.

You can pre-order the game from today, with some extra goodies being available to those that do. The pre-order bonus will be called the Housewarming Gift Set, which will include an exclusive outfit comprised of a jacket and ripped jeans. You’ll also get some new furniture: a statue of a lion with wings and a cuckoo clock. Finally, the Housewarming Set adds some additional consumable items and 500 Gols (the games currency) to your bag.

My Time at Portia will release on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on Tuesday 16th April.
