Good news, everyone’s favourite bald-headed badass (well, other than Stone Cold Steve Austin, of course) is having two of the classic games from his series remastered. Not content to just settle for the recent release of Hitman 2 back in November, Agent 47 is now vying for more attention with remasters of both Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution, which will be released on January 11th as part of the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection. The news came by way of the Hitman Twitter account:

Hitman: Blood Money released way back in 2006 for the PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360 and PC, while Hitman: Absolution debuted on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2012. Both were met with a positive critical reception.
As you can see from the tweet above, the HD Enhanced Collection will offer remasters that support 4K and 60 FPS and also feature improved lighting and updated controls. The developers also confirmed that the remasters will offer increased texture resolution, upgraded texture formats, heightened shadow map and mirror resolutions, super-sampling and upscale support. In other words, they’re getting a shiny new makeover for 2019.
Hitman HD Enhanced Collection will release digitally for PS4 and Xbox One on January 11th 2019. No price was given.
