Square Enix has at last announced the release date for both Final Fantasy X/X-2 and Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age for the Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch.
The release dates are staggered, with Final Fantasy X/X-2 releasing on April 16th and Final Fantasy 12 releasing on April 30th; along with the announcement, developers Square Enix also released some new artwork by Akihiko Yoshida, which you can see below:
It’s been a long time coming for Switch and Xbox owners, these games (Final Fantasy X/X-2) first released way back in 2014 for the PS3 and were ported to the PS4 just over a year later, it then released on PC in 2016. Now, after 3 years all gamers everywhere will finally be able to get their hands on them (apart from mobile gamers, but do they count?).
Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age, however, was only launched on the PS4 in 2017 with the PC port following in 2018, so there’s only a couple of years gap. Still, it’s a pretty long time to wait.
