Dead or Alive 6 Release Date Confirmed

If you’re a fan of kicking ass, scantily-clad women and watching boobs jiggle about all over the place then you’re probably a fan of the Dead or Alive series. Well, I have some good news for you, Koei Tecmo have announced that Dead or Alive 6 will release worldwide on 15th February 2019 on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

The release date was confirmed as part of a new release date for the trailer, which you can watch below:

There are, of course, plenty of pre-order bonuses to be had. Xbox One and PS4 players who pre-order will get “The Female Tengu” Nyotengu as a playable character. PS4 players will also get their hands on a unique Dead or Alive 6 theme as a reward for pre-ordering, while Xbox One pre-orders will get an exclusive costume for the Ultimate Ninja Ryu Hayabusa.

There are also rewards for buying the game soon after release. PS4 and Xbox One players who purchase the game by March 14th 2019 will get a bonus costume for Kasumi, while PC players who purchase the game by that same date (on Steam) will get that same Kasumi costume and Nyotengu as a downloadable character.

Also, there will be Digital Deluxe Editions of the game available for PS4, Xbox One and Steam that will contain a set of 25 extra costumes, 3 bonus musical tracks, a DDX exclusive Kasumi costume and an additional character – the formidable Kasumi clone, Phase-4.

Don’t forget, however, that Koei Tecmo confirmed back in June that it was toning down the sexualisation of the female characters in the series to keep with the “global trend” of this happening; this means more body-covering costumes and less boob jiggling.

If that statement makes you think twice about buying Dead or Alive 6 then I suggest you see a therapist.
