  • Spider-Man PS4

    Spider-Man PS4

Overall, Spider-Man IS a fantastic game and a must-buy for any fan of the genre. Insomniac have added yet another title to the ever expanding list of noteworthy PS4 exclusives, it’s just unfortunate that they didn’t push for a more unique experience. We may have then been talking about about one of the defining Superhero games of a generation, and not just the great game that it is.

  • Donut County

    Donut County

I did enjoy the short amount of time I played the game even if it was easy (it’s strangely satisfying watching things fall down a hole) but to give it any more than a 4 would be an insult to other games of the same price. I hope in future the developer adds new content in the form of free DLCs which include more puzzling challenges and a longer game, maybe then I will return and change the score.

  • Two Point Hospital

    Two Point Hospital

If you played the original Theme Hospital game and loved it, then you will almost certainly like this game even more. Two Point Studios have stayed true to the games roots and haven’t deviated from what made the original so great and have instead built upon its success and although not technically a sequel it’s a great successor to the first.

  • No Man’s Sky (Post NEXT)

    No Man’s Sky (Post NEXT)

When No Man’s Sky was released two years ago, I—as many others were—was really looking forward to it. I even considered buying a PS4 just so I could play it. However, negative reviews and blatant lies from the developers meant I didn’t bother.

  • Golf Story

    Golf Story

Allow me to start at the first Tee; Golf story is a golf-themed, 16-bit styled RPG developed by Sidebar games, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. You play as a young golfer, returning to the game after a long absence, with your heart set on joining the pro tour and becoming a professional golfer. Sounds like serious stuff? It isn’t. In fact, that’s pretty much as serious as this charming RPG takes itself.

  • Call of Duty WW2

    Call of Duty WW2

Once lauded as the first-person shooter of its generation, Call of Duty’s reputation—and sales figures—have somewhat waned in recent years. The franchise is now almost looked down upon as a game for kids; as a series that endlessly recycles itself without innovating.

  • Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

    Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

The name ‘Wolfenstein’ is one that I will forever hold close to my heart; Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War on the original Xbox provided my earliest and possibly fondest memories of online gaming, continually finding it’s way into my Xbox disc tray right up until the Xbox 360 was released. You can imagine my disappointment then, when it’s sequel – Wolfenstein – was released to both a mixed critical and commercial reception in 2009.

  • Overwatch – One Year Review

    Overwatch – One Year Review

It’s been a little under a year since Blizzard launched their first foray into the first-person shooter market with Overwatch, and it would be a complete understatement to say that the venture has been a success for them, which is commendable given that it was somewhat born out of a failure for Blizzard.
