Sit yourself down, turn the lights off, get your phone out, turn your blue light filter on (seriously, look after your eyes), and get ready to make a mess in your pants. A new Alien game is coming to mobiles, and it pretty much sounds like Alien: Isolation, which is enough to scare me already.
Alien: Blackout is being published by D3 Go, and it will—just like Alien: Isolation—feature Amanda Ripley, daughter of Alien-franchise hallmark Ellen Ripley, trying to stay alive aboard a Weyland-Yutani space station while a Xenomorph tries to hunt her and the crew down. Yes, there will be a crew, and according to the official description for the game you may need to make the decision to sacrifice a few of them to save yourself, you selfish bastard, you:
“The terror of Alien is brought to life in Alien: Blackout. Try to stay alive while trapped aboard a crippled Weyland-Yutani space station carrying a deadly Xenomorph as it tirelessly hunts you and the crew. Outsmart the perfect hunter by making perilous choices. Players must rely on the damaged controls of the space station or risk sacrificing crew members to avoid deadly contact, permanently altering the outcome of the game.”
Alien: Blackout will feature seven levels for players to try and survive through using only the station’s emergency systems. As mentioned above, the decisions you make throughout the game will permanently affect the overall outcome. The official Alien Twitter account posted a teaser trailer for the game earlier today:

Alien: Blackout will be available for iPhone and Android devices on January 24th, and it’s available to pre-order now through the App Store and the Google Play Store. No price has been announced yet.
