There are six collectible gems on each floor in Luigi’s Mansion 3. In this guide, I’ll show you where to find all six gems on the 14F floor and tell you how to get your hands on them. Please note that some of the gems will appear clear rather than coloured in the screenshots seen below, this is because I had already collected them during my playthrough before creating this guide.
Gem #1 – Elevator Hall
As soon as you come out of the elevator you’ll see a set of tiles on the floor, some of which are lit and some are unlit. Start with the unlit tile near the top left and walk your way across all of the unlit ones, lighting them up as you go. Once you do this, two tiles will become unlit, so summon Gooigi and stand on one of them with him and stand on the other with Luigi. Repeat this step three times and the tiles will lower to form a staircase. Head down the stairs and use Gooigi to go through the bars at the far end, then you can use his vacuum to grab the Yellow Gem from within a cobweb in the top right corner.
Gem #2 – Elevator Hall
Head back up the stairs and to the left hand side of the corridor, where you’ll find two turntables mounted on the wall. Use your vacuum on the turntables and a block will come out of the wall next to the neon outline of a person dancing. Now, summon Gooigi and position him under the block, then perform a Burst (ZR + ZL) and eventually the Purple Gem will appear.
Gem #3 – Elevator Hall
Use a Burst on the counter at the gift shop to raise it so that you can get behind. Once behind, vacuum up the cloth in the top left of the room to get into the room next door. Head into the room next door and vacuum up all of the coats which are hanging up on the left hand side of the room. As you suck up each one you’ll notice that the cabinet is raising – once you suck up the last one, the bottom of the cabinet will open up to reveal the Green Gem.
Gem #4 – Dance Floor
Once you beat the boss on the Dance Floor, you’ll notice that two of the tiles are unlit. Just like you did to get the Yellow Gem earlier, stand on one tile with Luigi and the other with Gooigi, which will raise a socket out of the floor. Plug your vacuum in and suck up everything against the back wall, revealing a secret room behind it. Go into the secret room and you’ll see a load of mannequin heads wearing wigs, but there’s one which doesn’t have a wig on. Shine your Dark Light on this mannequin head to make a wig appear, then vacuum it up to grab the Blue Gem.
Gem #5 – Dance Floor
In the same room, look at the discs hanging up on the back wall and you’ll notice that the left hand side one is actually a green light. Use your Strobulb on this light and two sets of stairs will appear at either side of the dance floor. Head up the set of stairs on the left and you’ll see a lamp floating in mid air with no table underneath it. Use your Dark Light to make the table appear along with a ghost. Defeat this ghost and you’ll be rewarded with the Clear Gem.
Gem #6 – Dance Floor
Stay at the top of these stairs and you’ll see a turntable hanging up on the wall at the back. Use your vacuum on it with Luigi to make the music start playing, then keep vacuuming and summon Gooigi. With Gooigi, run up the stairs on the right hand side of the room and you’ll find another turntable. Use Gooigi’s vacuum on this turntable so that you’re spinning both at the same time and the rafters will break, causing the disco ball to fall to the ground and shatter, revealing the Red Gem.
And that’s it! Congratulations, you collected all six gems.
